The mesh size
of the net is approx. 10cm, making it impossible for even the
smallest toddler's head to fit through.
The special
UV treated Polyethylene braid has a breaking strain of 135kg per
strand. (It will easily hold an adults weight)
Pool anchors
are manufactured in stainless steel or nylon in various colours.
They will not rust. The anchor plate is almost flush with the
ground so children will not stub their toes or trip on them
A lightweight
roller is available for easy removal and temporary stowage of
the net. The roller keeps the net tangle free. It is made of PVC,
will not rust and is resistant to chemicals and sunlight.
A specially
designed Central Tensioning System is operated by rust free pulleys
built into the net. By simply loosening the pulley rope, all tension
is released on the net thus enabling easy removal or replacement.
Pool Safety
Nets are long lasting and many are still in use after ten years
service, which is normally long after the early childhood needs
have been satisfied.
Due to the
technical nature of nets and the complications and ramifications
of working with nets, special skills are required. Only fully
trained personnel should undertake the installation of a pool
safety net.
